Advanced Battery Technology: Standardization for Ensuring Safety, Performance, and Sustainability in Electric Vehicles
25-26 February 2025
South Tangerang, 25-26 February – The training program “Advanced Battery Technology: Standardization for Ensuring Safety, Performance, and Sustainability in Electric Vehicles” concluded successfully, presenting a significant step forward in strengthening knowledge and skills in electric vehicle (EV) battery technology.
Organized by the National Battery Research Institute (NBRI) in collaboration with Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), this two-day intensive program combined comprehensive theoretical and hands-on learning modules. Participants explored critical topics including Lithium-Ion Batteries, Battery Fabrication, Battery Testing & Applications, Battery Pack and BMS, EV Battery Standardization, as well as Regulation and Policy.
In addition to classroom sessions, participants engaged in practical demonstrations such as Battery Fabrication, Cell Performance Testing, Battery Pack Assembly, and Safety Testing. The program concluded with a Project Presentation, allowing participants to apply their knowledge and showcase their understanding of advanced battery systems.
Every participant received an International Certificate certified by NBRI and QMUL, a complete learning e-module book, as well as seminar kits, with meals and coffee breaks provided throughout the two-day event.
This training not only strengthened participants’ expertise in battery safety, performance, and sustainability but also contributed to supporting Indonesia’s clean energy transition through the advancement of EV battery technology.
