Advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems Technology: Standardization and Safety for Energy Sustainability
South Tangerang 27-28 May 2025
The National Battery Research Institute (NBRI), in collaboration with Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), successfully conducted the Advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Technology Training with the theme “All about Lithium-Ion Batteries.”
The program featured comprehensive sessions including Introduction to BESS, BESS Applications and Grid Integration, BESS Regulation and Policy, as well as practical modules such as Battery Cell Performance Testing, Battery Pack Assembly, and Battery Pack Safety and Testing. Participants also engaged in project presentations to consolidate their learning.
To support professional development, the training provided a complete learning e-module book, an international certificate certified by NBRI and QMUL, along with seminar kits, meals, and coffee breaks for all participants.
Through its combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, this training equips participants with critical skills and insights to strengthen the role of BESS in achieving energy sustainability and advancing the clean energy transition.
